Um. . . A quick explanation first. There were a few choices I had a difficult time with on this piece. I wanted to make the flowers seem like they were melting. . . They ended up gorey instead. Too much gore and splatter seems to be cliche at times, so this made me kind of wary. Also, I wanted to keep the color scheme fairly simple- limited to black, white, red, gold.

Um. . . An explanation of the number 14382. In one of my writing pieces, that is a sort of military-issued number given to my character, replacing his name. (Have you read the manga "Blank Slate?" Kind of like that but with less amnesia and fewer Mexican standoffs.)
